Getting Started
Regardless of the role you play in the supporting medical staff of your patient, AMI will help you initiate and complete the A-Z process for providing a new wheelchair. To begin, we will need you to send us your patient’s demographics, which should include all pertinent insurance information. After verifying eligibility, we will then contact the appropriate medical staff member for prescriptions, progress notes, and other documentation. Following successful verification of insurance coverage, a seating specialist from Access Medical will schedule an in-home assessment with your patient to determine the most appropriate equipment for his medical needs.
