If you have Medicare and a private insurance carrier, you will be covered. If you have Medicare coverage and a qualified claim, they will cover 80% of the total. In many cases our clients choose to pay for their medical equipment up front and then we do all of the paperwork in order to get them reimbursed. If you choose to pay for your equipment up front you can have your medical equipment in a matter of days. If you choose to have us bill your insurance it can take up to 30 days to receive your medical equipment.
No!!! There are literally hundreds of options that make your scooter or power wheelchair specific to your mobility needs. Just like a tailor measures specific portions of your body to make a suit, we measure you to ensure a proper fit for your mobility device. If anyone ever tries to convince you that one size fits all, don’t believe them.
Life is all about personal relationships. We know that you have the option to order a mobility device on the TV or internet, but what are you going to do if a problem arises? When you work with Access Medical you can expect to get personal attention down to the smallest detail. We treat you like family because we hope to build a lasting relationship that will improve your quality of life. After all, we are your complete mobility solution.
Do I have to do any paperwork?
No. We work with you throughout the entire process, from the first free consultation through delivery. Once your mobility device is delivered we continue to be available to help you with any questions or problems that may arise. We help you to sign and fill out the necessary paperwork. We also work with your medical team to make sure that all of the documentation is in place. No one likes to do paperwork so we’ve tried to streamline the process in order to alleviate any unnecessary stress.
